Although I love having a blog as an outlet for my beauty ramblings & other things, you may not be aware that since January 2014 I have also had a completely separate YouTube channel for diarising my weight loss journey. As its something else I am really passionate about I thought I would share it here on my blog too.
I have always looked to blogs & Pinterest for style inspiration & although I'm definitely no fashion or style guru I did get a few requests on my channel to do a lookbook video. I didn't really know where to start & to be honest the thought of taking an afternoon or full day out to film one outfit after another filled me with dread. So instead I decided that now & again, if I was happy with how I looked that day, I would ask whoever I was with to just do a quick sweep of me up & down with my iPhone. Out of this rather random way of filming came my first look book. I never thought I'd say this but I am so thrilled by the positive comments I've received so far that I'm already looking forward to editing my first Winter look book. What do you think of this casual way of filming? Do you prefer the more staged versions of a look book? I'd love your feedback. In the meantime here's the video for you to decide for yourself. Xxx
