INTERIOR DECOR ON A BUDGET - FINISHING TOUCHES

There is something about spring that brings out the interior designer in me. Now don't get me wrong, i don't have a qualification in interior design. However, i have had a passion for it & watched programmes such as HOME FRONT as a young adult. That qualifies me, right?

As the owner of what can only be described as a poky Barratt house, for the ten years we have owned the property it has evolved into a more chilled domain when it comes to decor. I used to love such trends as two bright colours separated by a gaudy paper border in the middle or thinking that moss green & terracotta orange went together perfectly. I'm showing my age now!

Above is a collection of just a few of my favourite items that i have found whilst researching for what i call, "things to titivate" my bedroom. I know how costly it can be when looking to update/refurbish/redecorate a room, so i thought i would share one of my favourite places to source those little finishing touches.

BIRTHDAY MAKEOVER TREATS FROM CHANEL

On my birthday i got to spend one glorious hour with a stunning Chanel make-up artist in HOUSE OF FRASER at Meadowhall. I was planning to replace my Mac mineralise skin finish natural(Medium) anyway, as i had hit pan some weeks ago. I'd read a lot of rave reviews about LES BEIGES & seen what this finely milled powder could do through watching demo videos over on YouTube. So when the lovely Chanel lady mentioned that i could redeem the £25 from a makeover on Chanel products i thought it would be rude not to plop my behind down on her bar stool.
